Orion Swimming Club is based in South Birmingham. We offer swimming lessons from beginners upwards and competitive swimming in several swimming leagues. Our popular annual Club Championships take place each September. Most of our sessions are held at the Kings Edward's Boys School swimming pool, on the Bristol Road although we also have sessions at the King Edward's Girls School and Edgbaston High School for Girls.

The Orion Family Funathon 9th June - it's what summer's all about!

The Orion Family Funathon takes place on Sunday 9th June at KEBS starting at 9am

Swim and a run that all the family can take part in

£5.00 per person to enter - pay on the day BUT get your entry forms in to Rachel Allaway, 113 Queens Park Road, Harborne, Birmingham or scan and email to rachel.bowering@bbc.co.uk

Fear not - help is arriving. From February we aim to have a Club night with table manned from 7-8pm at KEBS. We cannot promise knights in shining armour or your top agony aunts, but we will endeavour to provide solutions to most of your Orion related queries.

So if in doubt come to Orion desk on Thursday evening from 7-8pm every Thursday

No parking on the school drive

The school has provided details about the dates on which there will be no parking on the main drive for Orion members. The Chief Master has specifically stated that under no circumstances should any person park their vehicle on the double yellow lines throughout the site, at the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre and most definitely not on the grass verges.

We hope you will take note and act accordingly to maintain the good relationship we have with the school.

There will be no parking on the main drive on the following dates:

No parking restrictions but check back regularly as this can sometimes change at short notice!

When you are not able to park on the main drive, Orion members can park at:
1. Sports Hall
2. Parking bays leading up the Chief Master's drive (but not in front of the Chief Master's house or garage)
3. Playing field off Bristol Road (please remember although it may look like the gate is closed, it is not)
4. Birmingham University car park on Edgbaston Park Road (next to the Gun Barrels, Saturdays and Sundays and after 4pm Monday to Friday)
